Welcome

As we say above, this is mainly for friends and family. Michael's blog on the Middle East can be found here. Most of our other links can be found below on the right, but be sure to keep up as well with our family website, here. We also have discussion groups for genealogy, links to genealogical information on us, and our (semi-private) Flickr and YouTube accounts for those who are invited. You can also get a quick-navigation guide here.

Swimming Fun

I just wanted to add a bit about the end of the day at the hotel. We, Sarah and I, spent about an hour or more in the hotel's outdoor swimming pool. Really nice, it's been the first time she could get in the pool since recovering from walking pneumonia, and being cleared to resume swimming Thursday by the doctor. The water was just great, cool at first upon getting in, then warming up quickly. It wasn't crowded, so Sarah and I had a good time playing together. I had been feeling so wiped out and "brain fried" from the high heat and humidity being outside and helping with the screening dirt activity, and the swimming just restored me, physically and energy wise. I feel a lot better. And Sarah enjoyed showing us what she's learned so far with swimming efforts.
